Privacy policy

This policy explains what information is collected and handled on GaliKey, for what purposes, and what your rights are under the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 (including Amendment 13).

Data Controller

Contact

Submitting the contact form sends your name, the contact details you provided (phone number or email), the subject of your inquiry and your message to the website's server. A copy is stored in the website's database on Lovable Cloud, and an email notification is sent to me through Lovable's email service. The form does not open your email application.

Providing these details is voluntary and is not legally required. The details are used only to respond to your inquiry, including answering questions and arranging purchase details. Without a way to contact you, I will not be able to respond. Your details are not used for marketing emails.

Inquiries are retained for up to 12 months from the date they are received, then deleted. You can request access, correction or deletion by contacting the email address listed in this policy.

You can also contact me directly on Messenger. Conversations there take place on Meta's platform and are subject to its privacy policy.

Usage Data and Browser Storage

The Lovable hosting platform, served through Cloudflare, collects anonymous usage data: page views, referral source (referrer), browser type and user-agent, and browser language. For this data, a visit identifier is stored in a cookie or in localStorage for approximately 30 minutes.

The website does not use advertising pixels or cross-site tracking, or sell information. Accessibility menu preferences, such as text size, contrast and pausing animations, are stored in localStorage on your device.

AI Recommendations

The text you enter in the keyboard selection tool on the keyboards page is sent to an AI model through Lovable's AI gateway to generate a recommendation from the catalog. The text is not linked to your identity. Do not enter personal details into the tool, such as your name, phone number, email address or sensitive information.

Hosting and Data Processing Providers

The website uses Lovable for hosting, cloud services, sending emails and the AI gateway, Cloudflare to serve the website, and Lovable Cloud's database infrastructure provider to store inquiries. These providers process information to deliver their services. Information may be stored and processed outside Israel.

Additional External Services

  • Messenger (Meta / Facebook): Contacting me through Messenger takes place on Meta's service and is subject to its privacy policy.
  • YouTube: Sound test videos are embedded through youtube-nocookie.com in privacy-enhanced mode. This mode does not prevent all information transfers: loading or watching a video may send information, such as your IP address, to Google in accordance with its policy.
  • Google Fonts: The website's fonts are loaded from Google's font service, which may receive requests from your browser.

Security

The website is accessible through an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to copies of inquiries on the website is restricted to the website administrator. Emails and Messenger conversations are also stored by the respective service providers. Information is used only for the purposes described in this policy.

Your Rights

You can request access to information stored about you, correct inaccurate information or delete information by contacting gali.nir@gmail.com. Requests are answered within 30 days. To protect your privacy, I may ask for details needed to verify that the request concerns your information.

Policy Updates

This policy may be updated from time to time. The current version will always appear on this page, along with the date of the latest update.
